Daniel joined Mishcon de Reya in August 2010 following his graduation from Duke University School of Law, where he earned a J.D. and LL.M. in international and comparative law. While at Duke Law Daniel focused on public international law and national security law, as well as general litigation. His studies included a summer at the Duke-Geneva Institute in Transnational Law. Daniel was an editor on the Alaska Law Review, and an active member of the Duke Law School Moot Court Board, through which he participated in, and won awards at, the Jessup International Law Moot Court, Southeast Regional Competition.
Prior to Duke Law Daniel earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Tufts University. At Tufts Dan focused his studies on political science, international relations, and economics, and was an active member of the Institute for Global Leadership's Education for Public Inquiry and International Citizenship (EPIIC) Colloquium. He spent his junior year studying at University College London in the United Kingdom where he was a member of the University's debate society and an intern at The Federal Trust for Education and Research.
Since joining Mishcon Daniel has handled cases involving a variety of legal areas at the state, national, and international levels. He has a particular interest in appellate and public international law.
Daniel is admitted to the New York and District of Columbia Bars, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
